The Miss Mary Pressure Cooker is a well-made and reliable pressure cooker that will not leak, providing trouble-free service and being totally safe. Manufactured by Hawkins, it has gone through rigorous checks and is quality certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (ISI).

The unique Pressure-Locked Safety lid ensures that the lid cannot be opened until the pressure has fallen to a safe level, ensuring perfect sealing through an advanced design feature that allows for "play" or movement in the lid handle bar. The fixed unbreakable metal handle bracket assists the self-centralising lid in locking securely and safely in place, ensuring a steam-tight seal.

The Miss Mary pressure regulation system regulates pressure efficiently, cooking fast, saving fuel, and being easy to insert and remove. The automatic Safety Valve is positioned such that, if it operates, the steam and food are deflected safely downwards. The gasket is protected from exposure to food acids due to the design of the lid, and the sturdy, stay-cool handles are easy and comfortable to hold while cooking, with the metal rivets safely recessed.

The Miss Mary pressure cooker is recommended for use on gas cooktops, and a free cookbook or instruction manual is supplied with each pressure cooker, providing valuable and practical information on the proper use and care of the pressure cooker, as well as a variety of tested recipes.
